This honey is from hives placed in the heart of the English countryside during the late spring and summer season when the hives are at their most active.
It has hints of chestnut and lime blossom and all the goodness of our countryside. It is perfect for spreading or to use in cooking as a glaze or marinade. There can be nothing finer than English summer honey on hot buttered toast.

After tasting honey at popular festivals like the Devon County show, I discovered that most honeys in supermarkets had a inferior taste and texture. This honey is much better, and tastes just as good as locally produced honey. However, when I bought this honey, despite being labelled as “set” with a creamy texture, it had crystallised into a drier, harder honey. Luckily, this is exactly how I like it, which is why I buy it to this day, but I wonder why the honey is different from what is stated on this website.

I absolutely adore this Pure English Set Honey. We have been buying it regularly for over a year, since 2024 and it has never arrived crystallised. It is smooth and creamy, with a pleasant mellow sweetness. This is an exceptionally creamy and tasty honey. 5 Stars!
