English Heather Honey
Our English heather honey, as all of our honey, is cold extracted, cold filtered and unblended to protect the natural proteins and enzymes in this super food.
The hives are placed on the moors of northern England, during the late summer when the whole landscape is covered with purple heather blossom, to produce one of natures wonders, Heather Honey.
The result is a rich aromatic toffee flavour. This is a perfect accompaniment drizzled onto cheese and is traditionally served with it after a meal. It is great for cooking where a good flavour is required or just perfect on hot buttered crumpets.
Please note that this honey can vary in texture where it can be said not to be either clear or set, just one more of its unique properties.

What super heather honey from the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire moors. Excellent flavour and consistency with a lingering taste in the mouth. Wish the carriage charges were lower which would encourage me to buy more frequently. An excellent product, thank you Littleover.

Honey is a great superfood, for hay fever relief and digestive help. Not to mention it tastes great! * If you get the real stuff..natural and real! I have tried many great ones and then I stumbled across this is Sainsbury’s the other day…Wow amazing! It a happy camper.. or bear…whatever! Real natural honey,,, eat it by the spoonful! Thanks and keep it real!
