The term “raw” isn’t recognised in the UK and EU honey regulations and therefore is not used in our labelling or website. The UK and EU honey regulations don’t allow honey producers to heat honey to pasteurisation temperatures as this may destroy the natural enzymes that have to be present to be lawfully declared as honey.
